Editing and Revising
June 29-30, optional Make-and-Take July 1
Tackle the objective section of assessments head-on! In the editing portion of your two-day seminar, you will experience sentence structure and grammar rules in a brain-based, interactive way. Participants will explore tactile-kinesthetic games that help students learn and internalize the difference between simple, compound, and complex sentences. In the revising portion of your two-day seminar, educators will learn how to differentiate between the different types of Revising questions (Rearrange, Exchange, Add, and Delete). Follow that with successful strategies to tackle a variety of answer choices such as R.O.C.K. (Repeats, Offs, Connections, and Knowledge). We are also offering a Make and Take day as an extra third day option to teachers during our Summer Conferences which includes an extra night stay, food, make and take materials, and training.
